HWY 68 Sports is a nonprofit youth organization and a chartered member of Pony Baseball & USA Softball under the rules and regulations set forth by Pony Baseball Incorporated & USA Softball. HWY 68 Sports is made possible by volunteers, sponsors, and participation fees within the Salinas-Monterey communities.  PONY is a program about “Protecting Our Nation’s Youth.”

Highway 68 Sports provides a quality instructional program that teaches fundamental skills, tactics, and strategies for the game of baseball. We are committed to supporting the idea that winning games is secondary to molding exceptional citizens.  Our youth will learn valuable life lessons about teamwork, dedication, accountability, and sportsmanship.  We achieve our mission statement by working with our coaches, volunteers, athletes, parents, and officials.  HWY68 Sports encourages a positive atmosphere by showing support and patience for all athletes and volunteers.
